and completed his undergraduate schooling at Georgia State University 1974-76 Pre-med requirements Atlanta, Georgia and Bowdoin College 1964-68, AB Degree Government major/History minor, Brunswick, Maine.
He started his medical work history with an Internship in General Surgery 1981-82 at The Oschner Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana then onto Orthopedic Residency 1982-85 at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia and continued as Chief Resident: Orthopedics 1985-86 at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, Atlanta, Georgia
